John Buehler, Owner
John, wears multiple hats for Blackrock Asphalt Services. He does all the booking keeping and all the payroll. He handles all of our corporate contracts, vendor agreements and oversees our legal interests while being a very talented mechanic ! Quite often he can be seen changing out of his suit and tie into coveralls to work on one of our machines or trucks. John truly believes "the customer is always right" and cultivates that attitude throughout the company.
Born and raised in the valley, John spent many summers traveling and performing for the Wenatchee Youth Circus walking the tightrope!!!.
Greg Kenyon, Sale Manager
Greg has been with Blackrock for 2 years now. He brings 27 years of Sales and Marketing experience from the fruit industry to the Blackrock team. In the Valley since 1984, Greg is a fierce competitor and understands a competitive market place.
Work Ethic and having a "team first" attitude make him a true asset for Blackrock Asphalt Services. He claims "all phone messages will be returned within 24 hours of receiving".
When not at work you can find Greg at a local gym in East Wenatchee, working with kids on their basketball skill development, helping them get ready for their high school careers.
Ed Smith, Operations Manager/Estimator & Sales
Eddy Smith, is the "Yoda '' of the Asphalt Service Industry. Growing up in the Asphalt deal working for his fathers Asphalt Paving Company, he's been doing this since he was 14 years old. On the ground floor Ed helped start Blackrock Asphalt Services in 1989 lending his experience and knowledge to the company every day since!
Many in the valley still call Eddy, for help or advice. We are truly blessed to have him on the Blackrock Team. Ed starts very early each morning each day, getting the crew organized and prepared for their day. He oversees the quality of work, sells and estimates during a typical day.
Josh Nees, Estimator/Sales & Crew Leader.
Josh has been with Blackrock Asphalt Services since 2009. He's THE "Utility Player" for the Blackrock team. Capable of doing every job from invoicing to running the Wan on a crack fill job, Josh, does it all.
He's an "A" level sales person and estimator and has a great rapport with our loyal Blackrock clintel. Many customers still request to speak with Josh!!
Josh is a huge sports fanatic and a big time Minnesota Viking fan of the NFL. He too is also very competitive and takes great pride in the work we do here at Blackrock Asphalt Services. Josh, grew up playing youth sports here in the valley and can be found hanging out with his family when not out estimating jobs or standing in hot asphalt.
